Hayes Home

Located in Hazel Park, Michigan is the Hayes Home - the second project released by houm and Three Squared, Inc.
This single-family residence is a carbon copy of the Cochrane home, with a few external variations to make it individualized. The two-story 1800 sf house is complete with 2 beds and 2 baths and the core of the home. The core is designed to consolidate the most expensive components and is inclusive of a kitchen, the two full bathrooms, vertical circulation and all systems to support the function of a home.

This core can then be plugged into any structural envelope system, instantly transforming an efficient shell into a beautiful home. The rest of the layout is as simple as framing walls and pulling some wires.

The Hayes Home specifically uses Sips (Structural Insulated Panels) to form the envelope of the building. Sips are constructed off site, and then transported and locked together assembling the exterior of the home.

The Hayes Home is set to begin construction in the summer of 2023.
